MacGhostView: Viewing PostScript Files on Mac OS. It is possible to view PostScript (PS) and Portable Document Format (PDF) files under Mac OS 8.6 and above (including Mac OS X), as well as convert PS files into to PDF's. Mar 01, 2005 Postscript Viewer 1.0 (rampantlogic.com) Postscript Viewer is a free for personal use program that makes it easier to view Postscript files in Windows. After installing the program, icons for Postscript files change to PDF icons and double-clicking launches your PDF viewer in which the Postscript. I just tried a postscript document with acrobat reader. I couldn t get it to open. I can t verify photoshop or illustrator. Ghostscript is a common program in the world for displaying ps documents. I use TeXShop for creating postscript documents, but it can also display them. It is free and open source. Obtaining a PostScript viewer If you're ambitious and have lots of disk space available, you can download a PostScript viewer and install it on your own system. There are free viewers available for Macintosh, Windows, OS/2, and X-Windows.
